With her 100 tons of cable pulling tension, she has the deepest power cable installation capacity, reaching up to 3,000 meters water depth. Monna Lisa is the sister ship to Prysmian's Leonardo da Vinci and in her 171 meters length she can accommodate 120 people. The vessel will join Prysmian’s installation fleet, increasing the number of cable laying ships to six vessels. She will be incorporating some technical and sustainable solutions aimed at reducing the environmental footprint and further reduce the C02 emissions. The vessel will use two LUTZ elevators - one for the personnel, carrying up to 1,500 kilograms traveling with a speed of 0.8 meters per second and a provision lift with up to 500 kilograms. Whereas the passenger elevator will serve six decks covering the entire vessel, the provision lift is for two stops only. The elevators will be built in Reinbek near Hamburg and assembled in Norway.
